I’m curently laid off and would like to find law firm which can negotiate with lender new rates?

I’ve been laid off since January, and slowly running out of savingsI heard there are law firms which can negotiate with lender new lower rates and also few months of no payments. Does anyone knows anything about it? I live in Saint Louis Missouri! Thanks for any suggestion!
